Legal Issues

I dont think anything has ever happened such as these two cases but if it were to happen our school might have different views on the two cases. As for the first case i think the school staff would not be understanding and they would say it is distracting our learning and we would be threatened with detentions until we took of our bracelets. For the second case i think since this is an all girls school and we would be promoting girls to stay abstinent, they wouldnt be against it. Either way, if they were against these two cases i wouldnt protest but i would get a couple of girls and myself and handle it maturley and go speak to ms harrison and tell her our ponint of view.
I enjoyed reading these articles. However, I was disppointed with the court's desicion with the Haywood case. I don't agreed with the principal's desicion. I believe he should have at least conversed with the students before changing their article. If it were me in that situation, I would have considered legal action. However, I did enjoy the Tinker case, and I commend the students and their families for being brave enough to stand up for themselves and their rights for the first ammendment.
